League table

Every club we've faced that EA's leaderboard currently groups in the same tier as us, built automatically from real matches -- not a manually curated list, and not EA's own league table (it doesn't expose one). Ranked by skill rating rather than points: points only ever go up, so they reward playing a lot as much as playing well, and clubs here have wildly different match counts. Up to 25 teams; the lowest-rated drops off to make room for a newly-played opponent once full.

The tier used for that grouping comes from EA's all-time leaderboard, which lags a long way behind live play — it is not the division any of these clubs is actually sitting in right now. It's used only to keep the table to a comparable set of opponents; every number in the table itself is current.
